Careers in Film & TV

Our ‘Careers in Film & TV’ event took place at the University of Birmingham in May.

Four schools – Bournville, Balaam Wood, St Michael’s and Shenley took part in a filming competition. Each team of 8 had to shoot and edit a film based on the advantages of going to university. They experienced a lecture, heard from media professionals, and had a hands-on lesson in filming with the University’s Creative Media department.
